Kompanion has participated in the World week of savings for two consecutive years, initiated by the National Bank of KR and the Fund of German Savings Bank.  Within the framework of the project, our staff conducted more than 100 lessons in financial literacy in Kyrgyz schools and open days in 20 branches of the bank in October.

During the excursion, schoolchildren, teachers and parents got acquainted with the work of the bank, learned about the ways of saving and accumulation, took part in interactive competitions and received pleasant gifts from the organizers. The young guests also had the opportunity to ask questions to experts from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Fund of German Savings Bank. The event is timed to coincide with the World Savings Day, which is celebrated worldwide on October 31, with the aim of developing a culture of savings and increasing financial literacy.
