From March 12, 2018 Margarita Cherikbaeva was appointed as a CEO of Bank Кompanion CJSC. Prior to joining Bank Кompanion, Margarita had been CEO of Finca Bank from 2015. From 2011 to 2015 she held position of the Chief Operating Officer in Finca Bank. Prior to that, Margarita Cherikbaeva supervised the work of the business units associated with German bank ProCredit Holding in the Caucasus, West Africa and Latin America. She has many years experience in consulting work in West Africa, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Margarita Cherikbaeva obtained a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Trier (Germany), and in 2023, she successfully defended her dissertation and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from the Paris School of Business.

Vano Baliashvili has 28 years of experience in banking. Vano is a graduate of the Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Engineering and Economics. He also holds an MBA from the European School of Management and holds an MSc in Project Management from George Washington University (Georgia). Vano went through all career stages, starting his way as an accountant in 1993 and subsequently becoming the chief operating officer at one of the largest banks in Georgia - TBC Bank. Thanks to effective management, strategic planning, and innovation, TBC Bank has taken a leading position in the banking sector of Georgia under the leadership of Vano Baliashvili. He is currently an Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors at TBC Bank (Uzbekistan) and a member of the Supervisory Boards at other financial institutions in the region. 


Rosanna is a senior impact investment professional with a proven track record of investments in sustainable banking and renewable energy in emerging markets (private equity & debt financial institutions, project finance renewables); institutional capacity development (strategy, ESG, risk, audit, HR management), and corporate governance. With more than 25 years of experience in the financial sector, she started her career in the banking sector of Kyrgyzstan at a commercial bank and then at the National Bank of the KR. After graduating from the University of Reading (UK) with an MA in Banking and a PhD in Economics, she continued her career in the financial sector internationally.

Rosanna led Financial Institutions ECC and Energy Transition Europe investment teams at Triodos Investment Management in the Netherlands – one of the globally recognized pioneers of sustainable finance (environmental and social financing). Currently, she is a non-executive director on the boards of financial institutions: a member of the Supervisory Board at JSI Bank Ipak Yuli (Uzbekistan), a member of the Corporate Governance & RN Committee, and Chair of the Risk Committee.

On the 3rd of April 2018, Kubanychbek Bapa uulu was appointed as Deputy Chairperson of the Management Board of Bank Кompanion CJSC."On the 3rd of April 2018, Kubanychbek Bapa uulu was appointed as Deputy Chairperson of the Management Board of Bank Кompanion CJSC.Before joining Kompanion, he was CEO of Dos-Credobank OJSC from 2014 to March 2018, where he had previously worked as Deputy Chairperson of the Management Board from 2012.From October 2010, he served as Crediting Manager, and in February 2012, he became Member of the Management Board of Dos-Credobank OJSC.From February to September 2010, he combined the positions of Head of the Crediting Division for International Financial Institutions Program and CEO Adviser.He began his professional career in Energobank OJSC (from 2004 – ATFBank Kyrgyzstan OJSC), where, from 2004 to 2010, he successfully passed every stage of professional growth from Specialist of the Crediting Sector on the EBRD line to Branch Director.He graduated from the K. Tynystanov Issyk-Kul State University and holds two diplomas: mathematics and system programming, as well as accounting, analysis and audit."

In the autumn of 2017 Damir Dosumbetov was appointed to the position of Chief Credit Officer of the Management Board of Bank Кompanion CJSC.In 2004 he graduated from the Kyrgyz National University in the specialty "Finance and Credit". In 2009 Damir received a law degree in the field of "Civil Legal Activity". In 2005 he started his career at the position of retail lending specialist department in Ineximbank CJSC. 2006 to 2008 held leading positions at Finance Credit Bank KAB: Head of the Mortgage and Consumer Lending; Acting Head of Corporate Lending Department as well as Head of Sales Department. In 2008 Damir joined the Kompanion as a senior credit administrator. Four years later he headed the department of credit administration and showed himself to be a skilful manager. In the autumn of 2017 Damir Dosumbetov was appointed to the position of Chief Credit Officer of the Management Board of Bank Кompanion CJSC.

Maksatbek Satibaldiev joined Bank Кompanion in 2018 as a Project manager and, in two years, was promoted to Chief Accountant, and in October 2023, he accepted the post of Deputy CEO/Chief Financial Officer.Maksatbek Satibaldiev graduated with honors from the Academy of Management under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2005. Before joining Bank Кompanion, he served as Chief Financial Officer at CJSC Ijara Company Kyrgyzstan. Maksatbek also gained extensive experience at Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank CJSC, where he managed to build a career from Accountant to Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Operating Officer. While working in various business divisions, such as the Accounting and Reporting Department, the Branch Opening and Support Department, and the Mobile Financial Services Department, he was actively involved in improving processes and introducing innovative products.

In August 2024, Dmitry Seleznev was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Bank Кompanion CJSC.In 2009, he graduated from the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin with a degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics. Dmitry began his banking career in 2014 at FINCA Bank CJSC, where he established himself as an expert in digital solutions and financial technologies. In 2021, Dmitry joined Bank Кompanion, making a significant contribution to the development of the bank's IT infrastructure by working on the modernization of internal systems and improving digital services for customers.In his new role, Dmitry is responsible for the strategic development of technological areas, including accelerating the bank’s digital transformation, implementing modern fintech solutions, and enhancing cybersecurity. His key priorities are to create innovative platforms for remote customer service, automate internal processes, and integrate advanced technologies—such as cloud solutions and artificial intelligence—to improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

Levan has over 22 years of experience in the financial sector of Georgia, in such significant banks as TbilCreditBank, TBC-Bank, Standard Bank (currently Terabank), Liberty Bank. Levan held leading positions from economist to Chief Operating Officer, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the bank. From August 2009 to July 2010, he was an expert on foreign economic activities at Ch.I.U.P. “Forward Capital” in Minsk, Republic of Belarus. Levan's work experience includes managing the bank's operations, international operations, treasury, branch network, as well as the card and payment business of banks.

Levan graduated from the Tbilisi Institute of International Economic Relations with a degree in Economics of the United States and Canada in 1996, after which he studied at the Tbilisi Educational Economic Institute with a degree in International Economic Relations, and in 2005 received a master's degree from the European School of Management - Tbilisi.

Malkhaz Dzadzua is a microfinance expert with over 27 years of experience in banking, SME finance and non-profit sector. Since 2004, he has been in business leadership and senior management positions, including 15 years as Chief Executive Officer of Crystal MFO - a leading microfinance institution in Georgia. Malkhaz also served as a board member of various local and international organizations working towards economic development, social impact and transparency, such as the UN Global Compact, SPTF, Microfinance Association, Corporate Social Responsibility Club and others.

Mr. Dzadzua is a Doctor of Economics (PhD). He also holds a master’s in Leadership in Development Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. He is a certified expert in microfinance, risk management, climate finance, strategy and innovation. Since 2022 Malkhaz works at Kutaisi University in Georgia, where he is professor and he gives lectures on risk management and banking. He also serves as a Supervisory Board Member at IMON International - a leading Microcredit Deposit Organization in Tajikistan. Malkhaz is the author of a monograph book “Microfinance as a poverty alleviation tool” and several research articles on financial inclusion, corporate social responsibility, human capital and green finance.

Chad is an industry-leading expert in international development, non-profit, and microfinance management, focusing on strategy, analytics, process improvement, and financial operations. He is experienced with contracts, grants, and program management, with proven results in increased cost competitiveness and revenue generation while improving compliance and reducing fraud at the international and country levels. Chad earned his Master’s degree in Strategic and Financial Management and Bachelor's degree in Commerce in Finance and Economics. Chad has overseen multiple countries' financial and managerial operations and has over 20 years of international experience. Chad is currently a Chief Financial and Administrative Officer and Corporate Treasurer at Mercy Corps.

Vusal Verdiyev is an accomplished Senior Executive with over twenty years of executive experience leading banking institutions in emerging markets. Between 2008-2021 Vusal Verdiyev served as a Chief Executive Officer of FINCA Bank Georgia, a subsidiary institution of FINCA Impact Finance. Mr. Verdiyev brings strong expertise in MSME banking, with a proven track record in leading some of the most complex initiatives, such as banking transformation, digitization and business model transformation, third-party partnerships and innovative product offerings, operational efficiency, and optimizations. Mr. Verdiyev has previously served and continues to serve as a Board of Directors member, Chair of the Risk Committee, Chair of the Nominations and Remuneration Committee, member of the Audit Committee, member of the Strategic Initiatives Committee in regulated commercial banks and MFIs in, Caucasus, Central Asia and Africa region.
